Miss Scarlett's 1st Birthday!

Miss Scarlett has become my honorary neice! Shawnda, Cinda & I have been so close over the years. Cinda has been my best friend forever. She has been through EVERYTHING with me. We both went to Corydon for elementary school, and within a year, we both moved to North Harrison Elementary school. We were neighbors until I was 13. We have shared so much together and her family has became my family over the years. They are so much fun to be around, and by far the most creative people I have ever met! They held my baby shower for me last June and it was absolutley amazing! They all worked very hard on it and made it so special for Christian and I. It was probably one of the best times in my life.

Scarlett is Shawnda's daughter. She was born just three months prior to Christian! We celebrated her first birthday with her. Check out how fancy her very 1st birthday was! (Christian doesn't fit too well in her exersaucer with all that pink!!)

The large cupcake was Miss Scarlett's. I have never seen a child enjoy the birthday "cupcake" as much as she did. She absolutely loved it. And, yes, the cupcake was real. Shawndy made it homemade. The "cupcake wrapper" is a scrapbook paper folded to resemble the real paper. Like I said, "CREATIVE!"
